Privacy Policy

We try to be the kind of site that doesn't make you read a privacy policy. Here's the short version: we don't sell your data, we don't store the URL you submit to the analyzer, we use standard analytics, and we don't have user accounts to leak. The long version follows for the lawyers.

1. Who we are

This site is operated by Webair AI LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("Webair AI", "we", "us"). Contact: hello@webair.ai.

2. What information we collect

Analyzer submissions

When you submit a URL to the free analyzer, our server fetches that URL the way a normal AI crawler would, computes a score, and returns the result. We do not store the URL you submitted, the report, or any data extracted from your page. The fetch is logged in our server access logs (IP address, timestamp, URL) for operational and abuse-prevention purposes only, and those logs are deleted within 30 days.

Analytics

We use two analytics services to understand how the site is used:

  • Google Analytics 4 (via gtag.js). Standard page-view and event tracking. IP addresses are anonymized before storage. We do not enable Google Signals or cross-device tracking.
  • Ahrefs Web Analytics. Privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics — collects aggregate page-view and referrer data without setting cookies or fingerprinting users.

Email contact

If you email us at hello@webair.ai, we retain that email correspondence in our mailbox so we can respond and keep context. We don't add you to marketing lists from inbound contact emails. Period.

Cookies

The only cookies set by this site are the Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*). Ahrefs Analytics is cookieless. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by setting your browser to block third-party cookies.

3. What we don't collect

We deliberately do not collect:

  • Your email or other personal info (we don't have user accounts or signup forms).
  • The contents of pages you scan with the analyzer (fetched then discarded).
  • Any biometric, financial, or sensitive health data.
  • Information about minors. This site is not directed at children under 13.

4. How we use the information we do collect

The limited information we collect is used for:

  • Operating the analyzer (fetching the URL you submitted).
  • Aggregate analytics (how many people visit, what content is popular, where they come from).
  • Detecting and preventing abuse (rate-limiting, security).
  • Responding to email you send us.

5. Who we share data with

We share data only with the service providers that make the site work:

  • Vercel — hosts the site and processes serverless function requests.
  • Google (Gemini API) — receives the page facts the analyzer extracts in order to score them. Google does not retain this data for training when accessed via the API.
  • Google Analytics — receives anonymized page-view data.
  • Ahrefs — receives aggregate, cookieless analytics data.

We do not sell data. We do not share with advertisers. We do not run remarketing or behavioral advertising. We have no business reason to do any of those things.

6. Your rights

If you are in the European Union (GDPR), the United Kingdom (UK GDPR), California (CCPA/CPRA), or any other jurisdiction with similar protections, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal data we hold about you (for most visitors, essentially none).
  • Request a copy of that data.
  • Request deletion.
  • Object to certain processing (e.g. analytics).
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@webair.ai. We respond within 30 days.

7. Data security

All traffic is encrypted in transit via HTTPS. We do not store user passwords (because we don't have user accounts). Server logs are stored on Vercel's infrastructure and deleted within 30 days. If we ever experience a security incident affecting users, we will notify affected individuals within 72 hours of discovery, in accordance with applicable law.

8. Children

This site is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has submitted information through the site, email hello@webair.ai and we will delete it promptly.

9. International data transfers

We're based in the United States, and most of our service providers are too. If you're outside the US, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (where applicable) with our vendors.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy materially, we'll post the new version with an updated "Last updated" date and add a banner to the home page for at least 30 days.
